Human rights are universal legal guarantees that protect the fundamental freedoms and human dignity of every individual. These rights affirm that every human being is entitled to equal treatment and opportunities, regardless of gender, economic status, ethnicity, etc. PEACE is committed to expanding human rights awareness and providing support to communities and groups to help vulnerable and disadvantaged groups "find their voices."
We empower young people by acquiring programs to realize their full potential by providing Youth Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Academic Development programs, a knowledge-based and activity-oriented leadership, entrepreneurship, good governance, and democracy youth training program.
PEACE works to strengthen activities aimed at ending violence against women and girls, including sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices, as well as sexual and reproductive health rights.

"In all but high-income countries in Europe and Northern America, only 18 of the poorest youth complete secondary school for every 100 of the richest youth. In at least 20 countries, mostly in sub-Saharan Africa, including Liberia, hardly any poor rural young women complete secondary school."
At PEACE, we promote free, equal access to quality education for all children – from early learning to secondary education. The organization improves earning, learning, and skill development opportunities for out-of-school youth. PEACE also works to reduce the number of out-of-school children and children who do not attend school regularly. The organization minimizes youth drop-out-rate through tertiary and higher education opportunities to help them learn skills that would allow them to find jobs, gain access to an international network of universities, and tackle Liberia's challenges.
PEACE is committed to rebuilding the education infrastructure in Liberia. We intend to provide information technology, including the Internet, CD-ROMs, and Web-ready computers at the tertiary level (Cuttington University and the University of Liberia). The organization also works to provide books for libraries and establish computer laboratories at public high schools. This program aims to make books for further reading and computer education available to public schools in all counties.

How PEACE IS INVOLVED
How PEACE IS INVOLVED
"Climate change affects the social and environmental determinants of health – clean air, safe drinking water, sufficient food, and secure shelter. Between 2030 and 2050, climate change is expected to cause approximately 250 000 additional deaths per year, from malnutrition, malaria, diarrhea, and heat stress".
PEACE is committed to raising awareness by disseminating climate change and adaptation information, particularly to vulnerable communities such as farmers and coastal settlements. We work to increase electricity access in urban and remote rural areas by providing solar or other renewable energy systems and training in their usage to generate more considerable development benefits for communities.
